Did you know that each Canadian throws away approximately ½ kilogram of (packaging) daily?
Due to the current situation of our local landfill reaching its capacity, the regional district has had to implement restrictions on the types of waste that can be sent to the landfill. At Cedar Grove we are promoting Environmental Stewardship and are hoping children will go “litter-less” in regards to lunches and snacks. We are looking to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in the landfill. Every child can help with this! Please be mindful of this and try to go with “litter-less” lunches and snacks.
